To foster closer collaboration between brokers and policyholders, the platform needed several key features. It should enable policyholders to easily access information about their current and recommended insurance policies. Additionally, the platform should provide personalized risk assessments and allow users to compare premiums and insurance options.

For effective collaboration, the platform must encourage policyholders to share personal information, such as details about their belongings or significant life events. This will enable the provision of tailored alerts for situations that could impact their insurance needs.

From Service Blueprint to easily extensible application

Before initiating the project at Kunlabora, we created a Service Blueprint to outline all desired functionalities and develop a detailed plan for the application’s construction.

We then developed an initial version of the app, starting with core functionalities.The application was built on an easily customizable architecture, allowing for seamless future expansions.

As user feedback and new requirements emerged, we iteratively improved the application. Additionally, we automated the implementation process, making it simple to release new versions into production.
